- The industry must have been registered for at least three years prior to signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Anna University.
- The average annual turnover of the industry over the last three financial years should be greater than or equal to ₹ 1 crore.
- It is mandatory for the industry to provide details of their PAN, GSTIN, and EPF registration.
- The industry must upload their Balance Sheets and ITR returns for the last three financial years (2022-23, 2023-24, & 2024-25 for the 2025-26 admissions).

- Auditor Certificate (Annexure I as per Anna University format).
- Certificate by the Managing Director (MD) as per the prescribed format (Annexure III).

- Inspection of the Industry: An Inspection Committee appointed by Anna University might visit the industry's facilities to assess their infrastructure and relevance.
